Bukittinggi town is nestled in the northern highland of padang. Bukittinggi is the cultural center of western sumatra. Moreover, Bukittinggi is also the largest wholesale convection after tanah abang in jakarta.
Bukittinggi is one of indonesia tourism that you must visit. Nestled 900 meters above sea level making Bukittinggi has cool climate and frequent rains. There are many tourism in Bukittinggi such us canyon Sianok, Gadang clock, Hatta Palace and Maninjau Lake.
To reach Bukittinggi you must have to do a flight from Jakarta ( Soekarno-Hatta international airport) to Padang (Minangkabau International Airport) which traveled approximately whitin a half hour. From Minangkabau International Airport you can continue with road trip using taxi or bus which traveled approximately 2 hours. Beautiful landscape will make your trip exciting.
For place to stay you do not have to worry becouse there are many good hotels in Bukittinggi. One of the biggest hotel is The Hills which is located just behind the palace Hatta.To get around Bukittinggi you can hire a taxi or using a hansom cab around Gadang clock.
